Fat Loss – 3 Simple Ways to Get Rid of Belly Fat Quickly!
Abdominal fat is one of the most problematic areas of weight loss; it’s the hardest to lose and at the same time, the most prominent fat deposits on most people’s bodies. I get asked how to get rid of belly fat fast quite often and I regret to inform you that there’s no magic bullet for abdominal fat; if you want to get rid of belly fat, you have to get regular exercise and eat a healthy diet, simple as that.
You can look for a workout program which emphasizes reducing belly fat, but in truth weight loss doesn’t work that way – fat loss is proportional, so go for an overall exercise routine and eat a healthy diet – this is what will lead to quick tummy fat loss. Some people go so far as to get weight reduction surgeries, but this is a rather drastic measure; there’s no need for surgery if you simply stick to your diet and exercise routine.
Weight loss and fitness aren’t something to be done as a crash course; it involves changing your lifestyle to stay at a healthy weight after shedding excess pounds, not following a fad diet or exercise program or taking diet pills for a few weeks. If you’re not willing to live a healthy lifestyle, you’re simply not going to lose weight. Any program or product which promises you instant weight loss should be avoided; the only thing that they’re going to make slimmer is your wallet!
There are a couple of different easy weight loss methods and this article will tell you more about them.
1. Exercise: To lose weight, there are two kinds of exercise you’ll want to do:
A. Strength training: You can do this with resistance bands and small weights (both are inexpensive and widely available). Strength training helps to burn fat while it tones and builds muscle – and muscles take more calories to sustain themselves. The more muscle you build, the faster you’ll burn off fat.
B. Aerobics: Strength training should be done in conjunction with aerobics or other cardiovascular exercise. Anything which gets you moving, increases heart rate and causes you to break a sweat helps you to lose fat. Try jogging, cycling, swimming, tennis and other physical activities – whatever gets your heart going and that you enjoy doing is a good choice.
2. Drink water: Water is important and often neglected as part of weight loss programs. Water cleanses the body of toxins which can slow the metabolism; this makes it hard to lose weight, so keep healthy and keep losing weight by drinking plenty of water.
Water prevents dehydration, flushes out toxins, improves your skin and assists in quick fat loss; drink at least 6-8 glasses every day.
3. Eat a healthy diet: Without a healthy diet, exercise will only get you so far. If you want to lose weight in short order, then steer clear of junk foods and eat as much raw fruits and vegetables as possible. Avoid fried foods; eat raw or steamed whenever you can. You’ll get less fat in your diet and your body will get the nutrients it needs to fuel up for your workouts.

Be Wary of Quick Fixes For Fat Loss
Our society is always looking for the quick fix for every type of problem. Weight management and fat loss is certainly no exception. When you read the fitness and health literature today, we see many “quick fix” approaches to fat loss. One “quick fix” is the use of fat loss pills or supplements.
The marketing hype in our print, Internet and TV media makes it very enticing to try fat loss supplements to reduce your body fat. Many of the fat loss supplements are mostly market hype. I’ve seen no credible research to indicate that any fat loss supplement can make a major difference in reducing body fat. Some of the research on these supplements is done on rats/mice, and not humans, and done by the manufacturer of the supplements. That makes you wonder how accurate and unbiased the research really is.
However, some fat loss supplements will help to a small degree. Some references indicate that if you’re on a fat loss program involving cardio, resistance training, and sensible diet, that some fat loss supplements may contribute up to 5% of the total fat lost. It seems hardly worth the money to buy a fat loss supplement for such a small benefit. Remember, the Food and Drug Administration does not regulate many fat loss supplements. Therefore, the checks and balances on the toxicity levels, effectiveness and side effects are not done on these supplements unless someone raises a complaint.
The bottom line is that the only effective and healthy method of losing body fat is a consistent program of cardio conditioning, resistance training and a sensible food plan. Let your body do what it was designed to do naturally. Using pills to force your body to burn body fat is not natural. When you use pills, you disturb the “natural order” of things in your body.
Body fat is nothing more than stored energy. Therefore, if you expend more energy (calories) than you consume in food and drink, then you will burn stored fat (stored calories). For some people, exercise is a very “hard pill to swallow”, but it’s the best “pill”. A fat loss program consisting of resistance training, cardio exercise and a sensible diet is the safest and most natural way to lose body fat.
